1. I was born in Auckland (New Zealand) 1967, my childhood was spent on a farm in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty. Married with two teenage children. From hairdresser to artist who has lived and painted throughout the world. Graduated with a diploma in art, craft and design 1998. My paintings mostly reflect the New Zealand landscape I connect with. Now living in the small mountain resort town of Wanaka, New Zealand. My semi surreal landscape paintings are for the viewer to stop, rest and absorb, to capture an essence of time and place. To be still with nature - land, sea and sky.
2. I also like to experiment with mixed media, shaped works - including long and narrow, board, paper, canvas, stone, metals and low relief carved wood that project out from the wall creating a relief landscape painting.
3. Featured on Television Prime news. Worked in schools. Illustrated a best selling childrens book and exhibited in many group and solo shows throughout New Zealand and overseas.
